Family Support Program (FSP)

Family Support Program (FSP) is a longer-term program designed to work with families with children at risk of foster care placement or in need of an intensive program. It is a 4-6 month program with 1-2 clinician meetings per week.

Goals of Family Support Program:

→   To promote the safety and well-being of children and family members

→   Help parents improve their parenting abilities

→   Identify parental and youth strengths

→   Create stable and nurturing family environments in which children can grow and develop

→   Maintain and build upon primary family connections

→   Improve individual and family functioning within their culture and community

Who is eligible for this service?

→    Families referred through Child Protective Services and Child Preventive Services branches of the county’s Department of Health and Human Services.
