Who makes a great foster parent?
Target Personas
Some of our target personas, based on research and referencing our current foster parents, include caregivers, teachers, nurses, police officers, firefighters, social workers, and other helping professionals. These helpers are often dedicated to making a difference in their communities and fostering is a great way to give back. However, great foster parents can also come from other backgrounds and careers!
People from diverse families and backgrounds
You don’t have to be perfect to be a perfect foster parent. We are seeking foster parents of diverse backgrounds to open their homes and hearts to support local youth in their area. All backgrounds are welcome, including being single, married, LGBTQIA individuals, retired individuals, home owners, renters, spanish-speakers, and more! We believe anyone who has the heart to foster can make a difference in a youth’s life.
