Coronavirus Update: 3/14/2020

Mar 14, 2020

We share with all of you deep concern for everyone affected by COVID-19 and support all efforts to limit, treat, and eradicate this disease.  As this occurs, we feel added responsibility to care for those to whom we provide services.

The health and well-being of those we serve and our staff is very important to us. Daily our team reviews information from trusted sources such as the Center for Disease Control (CDC), World Health Organization (WHO), Federal, State and Local agencies, and other global health organizations.

Based on this information and advice, we are not suspending programs or services at this time. We are continuing to provide services at both our centers and in homes. We will follow the lead of local authorities in the areas where we provide services. We will adjust our decisions as circumstances require.

Meanwhile, we have launched an intensive cleaning and disinfecting of our working areas, buildings, and vehicles. Staff, contractors and partners are being updated on latest developments and instructed in the importance of handwashing and avoidance of infection.

Please know, if we send staff into your home, they will have been pre-screened so they do not compromise your physical health.  Likewise, before we enter your home or you enter one of our sites, we will ask you a few questions so you do not compromise the health of those we serve or our staff.

We will use our social media channels, website, and direct contact to communicate any changes to our regular operations.

This is a hard time.  Let’s work together to help us all get through it to a better future.  Please take care of yourselves and those you love.

Thank you,

Edward Myers Hayes

Gracias,

Edward Myers Hayes,
