CAYUGA CENTERS MANAGER L’TESHA GAMBLE PETTIS NAMED 2023 WOMEN OF EXCELLENCE HONOREE

PITTSBURGH, PA – December 19, 2023– Cayuga Centers congratulates manager L’tesha Gamble Pettis on being named a 2023 Women Of Excellence honoree by The New Pittsburgh Courier. The event was sponsored by Duquesne Light Company and the New Pittsburgh Courier’s parent company, Real Times Media LLC, on December 8th at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Hotel at Station Squares. 

The New Pittsburgh Courier Women of Excellence Awards celebrates local African American women who inspire others through their vision and leadership, exceptional achievements, and participation in community service. The community nominates each class of honorees, and this year, L’tesha Gamble Pettis was among the fifty women selected for their community service and achievement.

Director of Foster Care Services Tara Skibiel, LCSW, extended her support, stating, “Congratulations L’Tesha! Your unwavering passion, dedication, leadership, and impact are truly inspiring. This recognition is well-deserved, and I am proud to celebrate your remarkable achievements. The commitment that you continue to demonstrate in supporting the work of Cayuga Centers in Allegheny County is motivational and inspirational to us all”. L’tesha Gamble Pettis joined the Cayuga Centers in 2021 as part of the inaugural team that launched the Allegheny County office. Her responsibilities include engaging with the community to generate interest in fostering and leading the onboarding and continued support of foster families in our treatment foster care program.
