Clinic

Sometimes, Cayuga Centers takes the road less traveled, and develops a program to fit a specific community need. Such was our journey to open the Monroe Youth and Family Center in Monroe County.

Responding to needs in the Monroe community, we have opened a stand-alone outpatient mental health clinic to serve children and families grappling with family mental health issues. We are not your ordinary mental health clinic.

The front lobby offers refreshments, computer stations and a movie viewing area. A walk through our corridors displays brightly painted artwork from individuals in art therapy programs. Each therapy room is warmly decorated.

With a full-time youth, adult, and family Psychiatrist and full complement of professional therapists and support staff, the clinic offers many therapy specialties including substance abuse, anger management, aggressive behaviors, bullying, and depression. A team works with each family using evidence-based best practice models that encourage high engagement and reducing the barriers to mental health therapy.

Youth and families may self-refer or be referred by community agencies, physicians, and school counselors.
